After our first boudoir session here in Germany with Miss Paige we knew we wanted more sessions at castles (burgs) with dirndls. While the dirndl is traditionally more Bavarian it still has a German aesthetic to it. So we began reaching out and Miss Alessandra replied that she was interested in a Burg Hohenecken boudoir photography session. Burg Hohenecken is another local castle we hadn’t shot at that she recommended and we put it in the books.

Our first Burg Hohenecken boudoir photography session came on a day that saw a break in the weather. If you’re not familiar with the weather here in Germany, it’s cloudy and rainy, a lot. The sun was shining which was a welcome change. It did however mean that families were out in full swing hiking and exploring the castle ruins. This provided both obstacles and entertainment during this Burg Hohenecken boudoir photography session.

Miss Alessandra had brought along her friend, Miss Marilyn, and we met at the top of of the hill where the castle was. After talking through wardrobe with Miss Alessandra I went to scout out the area and the castle. The castle itself isn’t very large but what is remaining of the caslte is beautiful and worth exploring. To start the Burg Hohenecken boudoir photography session out I had Miss Alessandra in a dirndl and we went inside the castle. After various poses we jumped into more boudoir themed elements and shot in various spots inside the castle.

CASTLE BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHY

Having gotten some good shots, and holding as families walked by, we switched up wardrobe. While Miss Alessandra was changing, Miss Marilyn jumped in for some shots. She didn’t bring wardrobe along but opted to jump in as she was for some photos and we got a lot of fun shots. When Miss Alessandra returned we moved to a different part of the castle and continued. We made our way over to a tree in the corner of the courtyard where we spend the remainder of the session.

The first shots we continued with just a trench coat, then proceeded to do shots of them together. Miss Marilyn then did some shots on the tree facing away from the courtyard. At this point we were catching a lot of looks as well as some laughter. At one point during the session there was even a drone that came up and caught some views as we were shooting.
