While living in Lodi for one of Rachel’s travel contracts I got in touch with Miss Alicia. Sacramento is what I consider my home town and I remember loving it there. There were places in Auburn I would go to and hike or drive around when I was younger and those places stuck with me. When Alicia and I began talking about where we were thinking would be a good spot for a shoot I thought of Auburn. I remember hiking the trails in the area there and loving the setting.

We set a date and met early August for this Auburn boudoir photography session. We met next at the trail where the North Fork American River and the Middle Fork North American River meet. Miss Ashlie came along with her as she was also wanting some Auburn boudoir photography done. To get started we went down next to the water and began grabbing some shots. The light had gone behind the nearby mountains and we wanted that sunlight so we crossed the river. We went down the shore a ways to find an area that had sunlight and that would also provide some privacy as it’s a busy area.

For the rest of the shoot we stayed in this area switching back and forth between the two of them. As the sun began to set we called it a day and packed up all of our stuff. It was such a fun shoot getting to know both Alicia and Ashlie and we’d love to shoot with them again when back in the area.
