SPRING HILL VALENTINE’S DAY BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHY

Conversation with Miss Kelly began before we had arrived back in the states. In preparation to moving to Tennessee, a totally new home base for us, we began to reach out and attempt to make new connections. Miss Kelly expressed interest in doing an indoor session once we got into the area. Schedules didn’t quite align as we went through various busy seasons. As time went on it morphed from a standard indoor boudoir sessions to possibly an indoor Christmas boudoir session until it came to Valentine’s Day. Just shy of two years after we initially began conversation the stars aligned and we were able to schedule a Spring Hill Valentine’s Day boudoir photography session at our home.

To prepare for the session we got the room clean and brought out our Valentine’s Day decor. We would definitely like to expand the decor we have for various holidays and as we go our plan is to obtain new props. When Miss Kelly arrived we went to our studio setup in the home and had a great initial conversation. She went to change into her first outfit and we got things going with a black lingerie set. I had her sit on the side opposite the window to get things going so the lighting wasn’t so dramatic. I also had some mobile lighting I use for outdoor sessions set with a red coloring to try out a different idea in the background.

NASHVILLE BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHY

After some initial shots sitting on the edge of the bed for this Spring Hill Valentine’s Day boudoir photography session, she moved over to the foot of the bed and the railing. With some good shots there we had her move to the other end of the bed and the head of the bed. To try something different for this session she moved to the foot of the bed where we have a fuzzy bench that she sat on. With some good initial shots in this outfit we did a wardrobe change and she changed into a red lingerie set next.

With this new outfit she sat on the other side of the bed closer to the window. While she was sitting on the edge of the bed we threw rose petals toward her to give the look of petals falling all around her. After a couple of tosses we moved along to have her lay down on the bed and try to blow the rose petals. From there we did a couple different poses with her crawling and then back onto her back for some more shots. One shot set we like to incorporate for both Valentine’s Day and Christmas sessions is the inclusion of just a red blanket. With the red blanket we recommend various stages of undress at the model’s comfort level and the shots come out fun!
