While we were home for our extended stay at home in Denver we initially got in touch with Miss Genessee. We didn’t initially get things squared away before we left for our next contract in Boston. We kept in touch while living there and began to iron out details. As it got closer to us returning home to Denver we started talking more details. It was her birthday and she wanted to do something fun and for her, modeling for causal sessions like this is fun for her!

For this Genesee Park boudoir photography session I met Miss Genessee at the trailhead and began in on the trail. The beginning part of this you have to walk in before you get to any good locations that are more private. This allowed for us to talk and get comfortable before jumping into shots. After a few minutes on the trail we found a spot that looked like a good place to start. We rummaged through wardrobe options she had brought along and opted to start with more fashion feels.

Once we got underway we went further into the park and came across a big open field. For this section in the tall grass we chose some red lingerie and a white cardigan so she would pop. We did variations of poses, settings and wardrobe before switching wardrobe and facing the other direction. With all black on we were playing peekaboo with the sun but still got good photos before moving to the next location.

For the last location together for this Genesee Park boudoir photography session we found one of our favorite little spots. It has some fallen trunks that stack on top of one another. If gives a fun little setting and we finished off the session by having her pose in red lingerie. We called it a day there and made our way back to the trailhead so she could go celebrate her birthday with friends.
