As we relaunched and began to reach out to those on Colorado, Miss Lizzy’s name came up. Through conversation we found that she was from Boston, which is where we had just come from. That gave us some common ground as we began to discuss doing a session together and moving forward. Opting for an indoor session we offered our home in Thornton, Colorado outside of Denver. We gave her a time slot right after the session with Miss Amy and we got right into shooting.

When Miss Lizzy got there we set out what she had brought down as I showed her through the house. While touring I talked through ideas and what I was thinking as far as shots. If we’re shooting indoors I’ll typically show the whole area we’re working in. I think it helps to give you an idea of the location and provide a little comfort.

Miss Lizzy opted to start with a New England Patriots jersey, as a Boston native, as we began in the master. Our next move was to go to the guest bedroom where we did some shots in a colorful robe. There was a quick wardrobe change and we got some more shots in the spare room before heading back over to the room where all the sunlight was coming in. After another wardrobe change we went downstairs to finish out these Denver boudoir studio photos on the living room couch. It was great getting to shoot and meet with Miss Lizzy and we got some great photos that she’s been proud to show off.

Our home is in Denver and we always return home, sometimes for short stays and sometimes for longer.
