Our conversation about a session began with Miss Bela on Instagram. After some initial conversation the best option seemed to be to shoot at our home studio in Kaiserslautern. We were aiming to shoot fashion outdoors on the trails behind our house and boudoir indoors at our home studio. When she came over we sorted through wardrobe options she brought and she jumped into a beautiful red dress. Once she was ready we got under way and began our walk back to the forested area behind our house. The dress she was wearing really popped against the neutral earth tones in the forest. We made out first stop on the trail and then took some photos against a tree to the side. We continued down the trail until we found some structures that had been made with branches.

There are several structures back here and some resemble teepees and they made for great settings to continue our session. Miss Bela is a dancer and a performer and you could see that come through in her posing. She knew what to do and how to pose and was fluid with movement throughout the session. Once we got some good shots here we began to make our way back to the house. On the way back we made a stop at the autobahn overpass and shot under the archways of the bridge. These made for some really fun and urban feeling shots.

HOME STUDIO BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHY

Once we got back to the house we jumped right into our Kaiserslautern boudoir shots. She changed to a white knit sweater with a black bra and underwear set underneath. Our initial shots were her on the bed with the sweater and then undressing from that to just her undergarments. After that we did a wardrobe change to a black lingerie set and moved to the hallway. With a few shots of her standing in the hallway we brought in the fur bench for her to sit on for some more shots. I rearranged the hallway plants a little to give some depth and color to the shots. To wrap up our Kaiserslautern boudoir photos we went back to the bedroom and she did a wardrobe change. I had her sit in our gray armchair for a few shots and then she posed against the window to finish.
