Our conversation with Mrs. Amber began on Facebook where we talked through shoot styles. Initially Mrs. Amber had reservations about doing boudoir photography. We hear that a lot from women for various reasons that there is hesitation around boudoir. We know it can be a very intimate style of shooting and you’re letting someone capture photos of… you. In general we’re our own worst critics and we see all the “flaws” in ourselves continuously. We look in the mirror and don’t see the good but see the things that need improvement or change. These “flaws” though are the things that make us each uniquely… us! Those things that we see as flaws are what make you, you, and make you beautiful in your own way.

Our initial conversation with Mrs. Amber was to the the tone of seeing beauty in everyone. There is no age limit, no race, hair color, body type, weight, etc. Our goal is always to show you yourself through a different perspective. You may see something in one way but we love getting to highlight the things that make you beautiful. So we set a date with Mrs. Amber and set out to capture this Neuleiningen boudoir photography session. We met at the entrance and gate of the city and walked in together to the castle ruins. On the walk we got to chat and get to know one another a little better.

KAISERSLAUTERN BOUDOIR

Our first stop was down a little stairwell that has a beautiful stone archway with vines growing around it. She put on a green lingerie set with jean shorts over the bottom. We undressed from the shorts, did some shots here and then moved down the wall to the next spot. As we went along the wall we got to another spot on the wall covered in vines and stopped for some more shots. We continued up the path and came to some steps that went back up to the castle ruins and stopped for more shots. With some good shots here we went back up to the overlook and she did a wardrobe change to a beautiful blue dress. After that we made our way toward the church and stopped in a walled area. We then proceeded over to the church and took some photos next to the vine covered walls.

From there we made our way down the the picturesque spot here, the split in the road with a beautiful timber framing house. The sun was coming in beautifully and she put on a flowing purple dress to talk the cobblestone roads in. With the sun beginning to set we began to make our way back to the entrance and made one more stop. It was really great getting to work with Mrs. Amber for this Neuleiningen boudoir photography session.
