While we were on a contract living in Lodi, we flew home to photograph a wedding in Denver. Being home we always schedule time to see family but we knew we could also get some shoots in. After some discussion we chose to do a Lafayette apartment boudoir photography session at Miss Kallie’s home near Denver. She had some great ideas with cooking in the kitchen that I was totally on board with. Miss Kallie’s session was the third session of the day and we finished the day at sunset with her.

To start off this Lafayette apartment boudoir photography session we began in her room where the light was coming in. Collaborating was great and she blew some smoke from her vape pen and it caught the light perfectly. From the window we went over to her bed where the light was still coming in beautifully and shot there. We did some shots in various states of undress and covering with sheets before deciding to move to the kitchen for the baking photos we had in mind.

BAKING BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHY

She cleared out her kitchen area and brought in the flour to play with for the kitchen shots. We did a variety of shots in various states of undress and she put flour hand prints on her butt for some shots. After getting some fun shots and making a mess of the kitchen we went down to the pool for some swimsuit shots. The sun was just setting behind the Rocky Mountains and there was just enough cloud coverage to give the sky some color.

It was a great session with Miss Kallie and it was a pleasure meeting some of her family, genuine and sweet people. We love getting to shoot back home in Denver and we’d love to schedule a Lafayette apartment boudoir photography session.
