With our time in the Sacramento area coming to a close we packed our last week with sessions. We had been discussing session options with Miss Brooklyn and it worked out to shoot together before leaving. She lived about an hour south of where we were at in Lodi so we looked at locations around Oakdale. For her session together we decided on getting some Horseshoe Road Recreation Area boudoir photos in Oakdale.

I drove down to meet with Miss Brooklyn and her fiancé and began to explore the area together. Rachel and I were moving to Germany in 2 weeks from the session and having been a number of times gave suggestions. Conversation was easy and light as we discussed favorite TV shows and travel/wedding plans.

Our first stop was along the trail next to a pond where the sunlight was coming through beautifully. As with all sessions we’ll start out with wardrobe options that are going to be lean more towards a conservative approach. This allows us all to get familiar with one another and begin to be comfortable before jumping into lingerie. I introduced some ideas introducing boudoir elements at this spot and then we continued on down the trail.

The next spot we dove a little more into boudoir elements doing shots in just the undergarment set she had brought as well as some without top. Happy with how the shots looked we continued on down the trail to another spot overlooking the water. The sun was shining through onto the vegetation and made for some beautiful shots.

Our last spot for these Horseshoe Road Recreation Area boudoir photos was next to a pile of logs. I always like utilizing log stacks wherever I can find them. Still in the dress we got some shots in that before switching back to her initial wardrobe option. Happy with the shots we’d captured we began back toward the cars.
