Heidi and I have been friends for years and met when she was a travel nurse in Denver. Our connection started with sharing a passion for traveling and a not-so-secret love for Justin Beiber. We were so excited to be in the same state for an assignment and couldn’t wait to spend time together. She had seen my pictures on social media and was wanting some quality shots of her and her golden retriever. Before our planned girls day, Heidi had sent me a boudoir-like picture she saw online. She asked if I could get her images like this if we did a shoot together. Thus began my adventure into boudoir photography!

We began our photo sessions with a walk a nearby park and got some beautiful shots of Heidi and Kinley. After that we began our session at the cottage we were renting in Gloucester. Heidi started in a cozy cardigan in front of the window that had some gorgeous natural light. We had such a blast working through posing and getting the right shots. It was my sole focus to make sure she felt as beautiful and sexy as she deserves to! After some fun shots here, Heidi put on a purple robe. This really popped against her white lingerie and we headed out to the sun room.

After we shot in this outfit, we then switched gears to a more rocker vibe with black undergarments and a leather jacket. It was a fun outfit and we got some great shots of Heidi working it and me encouraging her to “Get it girl!” This saying quickly became our motto and it was really rewarding helping Heidi feel confident in her own skin. This is when my love for boudoir really came out, I wanted her to feel like I felt during my shoots…sexy, beautiful and confident.

I’m so glad she came out to work with me and help me grow as a photographer. Another outfit change and Heidi busted out the Patriots gear, why not since we’re in New England. We got some fun shots of her in the sun room and on the bed. We finished the shoot in the sun room in some undergarments and a flannel and even got some unintentional implied topless pictures. Heidi and I had a blast this shoot and it was really rewarding to watch her confidence grow throughout the shoot. We plan to work together again very soon and help her bring out her snow bunny side.

We’re only in Gloucester for a short time period and while we’re here we’d love to squeeze in a few more sessions.
