Getting ready to head home back to Denver we began to reach out to try to setup sessions. Rachel’s contract had us in the Sacramento area and we were planning to be home a few months after that contract. With so much time at home we wanted to continue building our home client base and portfolio. Fit Melanie has a great audience in the Denver area and we were excited about the opportunity to collaborate together. Melanie had seen some shoots we’d done with some friends and was excited to work together too.

After some conversation we went with a snowy outdoor Genesee Park boudoir photography session together. We knew it was going to be cold as there was still fresh snow on the trail and set out anyway. To start our session together we began with some standard fashion feels and poses. After some conversation we began to blend in some boudoir elements to the session as well. We always discuss boundaries with you and will never push to do something you’re not comfortable.

Sometimes it takes a little conversation to talk through concerns before trying out some further boudoir elements and we definitely understand. We’re happy to have those conversations with you and talk through questions and concerns. Most of the concerns with boudoir elements revolve around not wanting certain types of photos out. With every boudoir session we do we never post anything to our website or to social media without your permission.

Fit Melanie and I wandered around the paths for a while mixing in different styles along the way. There were a lot of great shots we got together in the cold and Melanie was really great through it all. We loved getting to work with her for this Genesee Park boudoir photography session and highly recommend working with her.
