ALTDAHN CASTLE BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHY

When we first began talking to Mrs. Morgaine they were just getting to Germany and covid was beginning to lock things down. We were still able to do outdoor sessions but indoor boudoir sessions were out. So, as we usually do, we recommended a castle to shoot at for a boudoir session. Castles are always great options here in Germany since they’re unique to the area. She was all for it and brought her husband and kiddo along. They toured the castle while we went throughout the area to find more secluded areas for boudoir photos.

Beginning the session we went around and down to outside the castle where there was a trail leading to the forest. There was a patch of grass surrounded by the rock walls that we began with. I brought along our portable studio flash as well and was utilizing it where space allowed. After we got some shots here we continued over to the edge of the castle wall and got more shots here. Below the wall there was a cave that was barred that we utilized next. To wrap up this section of the castle we found a hole in the wall that Mrs. Morgaine had to climb up to.

CASTLE BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHY

On the way up to the session we ran into another person we’d done a session with previously, Mrs. Crystal. When we were working around the hole in the wall section we ran into her and her family. They were there exploring the castle with her family and some friends of theirs. After a short chat we did a wardrobe change and went to the front side of the castle. There was some traffic here but we were able to still get some great shots here before moving up into a forested area.

We did a little climbing and found a nice little spot with tree cover to do more boudoir photos. We finished our Altdahn Castle boudoir photography session here. After we completed the session we found her family and went back to the cars.
